The 5th Congress on Forensic Engineering is presented by the Technical Council on Forensic Engineering (TCFE) of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). The Planning Committee has assembled an excellent program of workshops and technical sessions that encompass a wide range of subjects, including structural failures, extreme loading, building envelope performance, forensic investigations and forensic engineering education.
TCFE is pleased to welcome and honor our keynote speaker, Dr. Henry Petroski, Ph.D., P.E., Dist. M.ASCE, NAE, Aleksandar S. Vesic Professor of Civil Engineering and Professor of History at Duke University. Dr. Petroski's address will be held as a public event in the Great Hall of the National Building Museum on Thursday, November 12.
As TCFE celebrates 25 years of service, we invite the public to join us as we reflect on a quarter century of construction pathology - understanding why and how buildings and structures fail.
