Expansion Anchors
Powers Fasteners, Inc. has been issued a new International Code Council Evaluation Service Report (ICC-ES), ESR-2966, for the Power- Stud+SD1 expansion anchor in uncracked grout-filled concrete masonry walls (CMU). The anchors have been independently tested and qualified and incorporate a standard length ID code on the stud head for simple visual inspection after installation. The 3/8 inch, 1/2 inch, and 5/8 inch diameters anchors are listed and can be installed in CMU wall faces and wall tops in accordance with the ICC-ES ESR report. The report states that the anchors are suitable to resist static, wind, and seismic tension and shear loads.
