Sidelap connectors
Hilti’s Steel Deck Fastening Systems, including the new and innovative Hilti Sidelap Connectors (SLC’s) used in conjunction with Hilti’s powder-actuated frame fasteners, were recently evaluated by ICC-ES according to the current ICC-ES AC 43 requirements and received ICC-ES Evaluation Report ESR-2776. This evaluation report provides IBC and UBC recognition for the use of Hilti Steel Deck Fastening Systems in attaching steel roof deck panels to steel frame buildings for use in diaphragm design.
