Why screws instead of nails? In tight spaces and overhead applications, screws are easier to install than nails and, in some cases, achieve higher load ratings than 10d and 16d common nails. Hydraulic cement
According to recent studies, Rapid Set — produced by CTS Cement Manufacturing Corporation —is a greener hydraulic cement primarily because it has a much smaller carbon footprint than portland cement. In its manufacturing process, it generates far less carbon dioxide. Hardened Rapid Set concrete is much more durable than portland cement concrete; and a number of recycled products enter into its composition.
