Leslie E. Robertson Associates, R.L.L.P., a 65-person consulting engineering firm headquartered in New York, announced the promotion of four of its structural engineers. Nayan B. Trivedi, P.E., has been promoted to senior associate. He is currently the firm’s project manager for Oberoi Skyz, a 90-story residential tower, and Oberoi Spring, a 36- story residential tower, both in Mumbai, India. Prior to joining LERA,Mr.Trivedi was employed as a structural engineer in Saudi Arabia and India from 1996 to 2000. He holds a Master of Engineering Degree in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Gujarat University in India.

William C. Howell, P.E., was promoted to associate. He is working as a structural surveillance engineer for I.M. Pei’s $150-million Museum of Islamic Art, currently under construction in Doha, Qatar. Howell has a bachelor’s in civil engineering from Florida International University and a master’s in civil engineering from Columbia University.

Alexandra M. Novak, P.E., has been promoted to associate. She holds both masters and bachelors of engineering degrees from City University of New York.Novak is currently the project manager for the $125-million Mott Haven Campus in the Bronx, N.Y., and the $95-million new Science Building at Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Andrea Soligon, P.E., has been promoted to associate. Soligon holds a Laurea degree from the Università degli Studi di Padova in Italy and a master of science degree from the University of California at Berkeley. He is the firm’s project manager for the $8-million vertical expansion of the CUNY Law School in Queens, N.Y., and the $100-million Waterfront Condominiums in Reno, Nev.

CME Associates, Inc., of Woodstock, Conn., opened an office in East Hartford, Conn. This office will house CME’s expanding Transportation & Structures Group. In addition, the company announced the following promotions: Michael P.

Culmo, P.E., has been named vice president of Transportation & Structures; and Bryan L. Busch, P.E., has been promoted to director of structural engineering.
