Bentley announces winners of 2010 Be Inspired Awards
Bentley Systems, Inc., announced the winners of the 2010 Be Inspired Awards and Be Inspired Special Recognition Awards on Oct. 21 at a gala dinner in Amsterdam. The awards — which honor the extraordinary work of Bentley users who are improving and sustaining the world’s infrastructure — recognized a total of 24 winners, representing project work in 16 different countries. Of the 24 winners, 19 were selected from 55 finalists for the Be Inspired Awards, and five were selected for the second-annual Be Inspired Special Recognition Awards.
“The recipients of this year’s awards are being acknowledged for their exceptional talent and achievements in innovatively employing information modeling and collaboration technology and implementing best practices in sustaining infrastructure,” said CEO Greg Bentley. “On behalf of my colleagues at Bentley, I heartily congratulate these winners for their exemplary projects, [which are] improving infrastructure and contributing to our world’s economic and environmental resilience. Their work is an inspiration to us all.”
Bentley posted highlights of this year’s winning projects on its website, including detailed descriptions of all nominated projects in the print and digital versions of “The Year in Infrastructure 2010,” to be published by the year’s end.
