CHICAGO — CSC has announced the addition of a monthly webinar series for the structural engineering industry on topics ranging from design methods to integration with BIM.

Commenting on the webinar series, Matthew Newton, president of CSC, said: “We are excited to have played a role in the new technologies of structural engineering for the past 30 years. The major advances in analysis, design and integration with BIM are remarkable innovations which allow the structural engineering industry to reach new levels of productivity. Our webinar series provides valuable insight into these developments.”

The first series beginning in November includes a joint webinar with Tekla titled Bridging Design to Construction. This webinar will showcase the integration between Tekla Structures and Fastrak Building Designer. Tekla and CSC will demonstrate how the software exchanges information and best practices.

In addition, November will include a webinar on increasing productivity for everyday structural designs utilizing TEDDS, as well as a webinar on the integration of Fastrak and Revit Structure.
