Earn PDH credit with BASF webinar  

The Admixture Systems business of BASF's Construction Chemicals division has announced it will be hosting an informational webinar titled, The Fundamentals and Benefits of Fiber-Reinforced Concrete for Architects, Engineers and Owners, on Nov. 16, 2010.

Dr. Charles Nmai, P.E., M.ASCE, FACI, will be discussing the following topics:
• Fiber basics
• Standard test methods for evaluating the performance of fiber-reinforced concrete (FRC)
• Analytical basis for establishing performance equivalency between fibers and steel reinforcement
• Fiber Dosage Wizard, an interactive tool to calculate required fiber dosage
• How to specify FRC

Nmai is manager of the Engineering Services Group in the Admixture Systems business of BASF's Construction Chemicals division. He is responsible for providing technical leadership and strategic guidance in the marketing of admixtures and high-performance concrete technologies.
