SGH makes ‘top engineering companies’ list

ROCKVILLE, MD. — The Washington, D.C., office of Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc. (SGH) has been placed on the Washington Business Journal’s Top Engineering Firms List at 25. The list ranks firms by metro-area engineering billings, and it is SGH’s first time on the list.

The 25-person office’s 2009 revenues were $5.8 million. The office is one of five offices for SGH, a 425-person engineering firm with $82.9 million in annual revenues.

“We are especially pleased with the advancement of our office in the D.C. area given the down economy. I see this success as a testament of the dedication of our professional staff to providing value and timely service to our clients,” SGH CEO Glenn Bell said.
