Structural Engineering and Design 2010 Power List

DEERFIELD, ILL — Structural Engineering & Design is assembling a list of the most powerful people in the structural engineering industry for the December 2010 issue. To be sure we don’t overlook any significant contributors to the profession; we are seeking nominations for the 2010 Power List.

Who are the most influential people in the structural engineering industry and why? Consider people in government, professional practice, academia, media, and advocacy who are creating great engineering solutions through design or research, affecting infrastructure funding and policy, protecting the environment, and teaching and mentoring future leaders and students. Let us know who you think is influential in building, bridge, and non-building structure design and construction, including by not limited to analysis, building materials, construction processes, structural systems, and building envelopes and enclosures.

CE News recently published the 2010 Power List to spotlight individuals who are making an impact in the much broader field of civil engineering. Read The Power List: People advancing the civil engineering profession in the May 2010 issue of CE News.

Nominations for the 2010 Power List will be accepted through Friday, Oct. 29, 2010. Notes that individuals do not need to be structural engineers, but people nominated for The Power List must be living. Submit nominations at www.gostructural.com/powerlist.
