Tekla provides BIM Software for Middle Tennessee State University’s Concrete Industry Management Program

ATLANTA — Through their education program Tekla, Inc. has equipped Middle Tennessee State University’s (MTSU) Concrete Industry Management (CIM) Program with Tekla’s complete suite of 3D building information modeling (BIM) software, Tekla Structures. The software will be available to every student and professor and will become an integral part of course work.

“It’s vital for our applied concrete program to stay cutting edge for our students” said Heather Brown, Ph.D., Director and Associate Professor, “the adoption of Tekla allows further integration of their drafting, estimating and scheduling knowledge into a software package that puts it all together in an impressive, useful format.”

“Tekla is committed to providing software to educational establishments as we see great value in educating the future workforce,” stated Hans Ehrnrooth, President of Tekla, Inc. “We will work closely with Dr. Brown to train her professors, educate her students and help integrate BIM into MTSUs CIM Program.”

The Tekla Education Program, open to any educational establishment in North America, provides the Tekla Structures BIM software, training for professors, and assistance with course development.
